In an international environment with students from 15 countries, organizing Vietnamese Teacher’s Day not only reminds students to appreciate Vietnamese teachers but also reflects the spirit of solidarity and cultural diversity around us.

Ms. Bui Thi Minh Nga, the Principal of the MOET Program at HTS, shares: ‘For most foreign teachers, they rarely have a dedicated Teacher’s Day when teaching abroad. When mentioned about Vietnamese Teacher’s Day, they are often surprised, thinking they can only quietly celebrate the day for Vietnamese teachers. They asked me why Vietnam has such a day. It’s because of this question that I believed organizing this celebration not only helps spread the tradition of respecting teachers in Vietnam but also allows them to feel that gratitude. Today, during the celebration organized by the students to express their appreciation for their teachers through wishes, music, singing, and dancing, HTS teachers were truly moved. Gratitude comes not only from parents and students but also from the school’s leaders. Some teachers even told me that it’s the first time in their working lives that they have felt such high appreciation and understanding from the school’s leaders for even the smallest daily tasks. The school’s leaders has touched the hearts of the teachers.’
At Hanoi Toronto School, we embrace global integration, celebrate international holidays, honor the cultural values of each individual, and walk hand in hand towards the future!

On Vietnamese Teacher’s Day, HTS expresses gratitude to all teachers, staff, and employees who worked and have beent working on this S-shaped land. Wishing you good health and continued dedication to the Vietnamese education system!
