Engaging in sports has long been scientifically proven to benefit both physical and mental well-being, fostering individual development. Moreover, team sports and competition help children reduce the risk of illness, alleviate stress, and enhance mental health.

For students in Elementary and High School, making friends through sports helps alleviate psychological stress, foster team bonds, and establish their first social relationships in life.

The spirit of competition in sports is not merely about winners and losers; it’s also where HTSers cultivate an unwavering determination. Sportsmanship is inherently difficult to teach and learn, but only in environments like Hanoi Toronto School, where students’ indomitable wills are nurtured from an early age, can it be properly instilled. HTS is the home of Huskies who never carry the baggage of surrender!

Taking it a step further, team sports are elevated to new heights by teachers Chris and Jordan, with a schedule comprising at least 8-10 matches per month, including away and home games, against private and international schools in the Hanoi area.

Furthermore, as a member institution of the ISP educational network, HTSers will have opportunities to compete regionally and internationally in the future!
