EQUIPPING ADDITIONAL TOOLS TO SUPPORT CHILD PROTECTION IN SCHOOLS

Hanoi Toronto School is always striving to enhance safeguarding for children, which is why training sessions take place throughout the academic year. This time, the school’s team of teachers and staff have been equipped with additional knowledge on how to use the MyConcern tool.

MyConcern is a child protection support platform designed to optimize reporting and management of teachers’ and staff’s concerns about students’ physical and mental well-being.

The training sessions included knowledge and usage guidelines on various aspects of the MyConcern platform, such as identifying and reporting concerns, appropriate monitoring and supervision in cases, and collaborating with colleagues and external agencies to provide timely and relevant support information to students in need.

By providing additional safeguarding tools like this, Hanoi Toronto School is continuously striving to effectively address concerns about child protection, as well as reinforce the school’s commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment for all.
