ENERGETIC REHEARSALS WITH THE ASPIRING DRAMA TROUPE

The drama club’s budding actors and stage directors at Hanoi Toronto School have been engaging in enthusiastic rehearsals under the guidance of Ms. Nadia. Divided into two teams, they showcase their talents both on and off stage.

On one side, directors and stage designers diligently work, meticulously crafting and organizing the stage to enhance the vibrancy of the upcoming performance. From selecting suitable backgrounds to arranging props within actors’ reach, these young but dedicated directors are honing their craft each day.

Meanwhile, the aspiring actors immerse themselves in the emotions of their assigned roles, engaging in lively discussions with teachers and peers to understand the roots behind their characters’ actions and behaviors, as well as how to effectively convey them on stage. With each discussion, HTSers explore not only the depth of characters but also the nuances of script interpretation and human emotions.

Guided with skill and passion by Ms. Nadia, the Drama Club not only hones students’ acting skills but also nurtures their communication abilities, teamwork, empathy, and creativity. Parents and the school alike eagerly anticipate the future strides of this promising drama troupe named HTS!
