THE JOURNEY OF POTTERY – PRESERVING TRADITION, CARRYING ON THE HERITAGE

In their recent extracurricular excursion, students of 6GI visited Bat Trang – an ancient pottery village with over 1000 years of history. This village not only embodies Hanoi’s cultural heritage but also serves as a wellspring of creative inspiration for Vietnamese artisans.

HTSers had the opportunity to explore unique architectural marvels, drawing inspiration from the Potter’s Wheel Block, showcasing the finesse and rich values of Bat Trang’s people. Combining cultural exploration with hands-on creativity, they immersed themselves in traditional pottery artistry, becoming “Artisans of the Pottery Village.”

This journey not only brought joy and new knowledge but also provided an opportunity for deeper understanding of the value of Vietnamese art and cultural heritage.
