📢 On 25th November, 7 swimmers from our HTS Swimming Club were invited to International School at Park City Hanoi (ISPH). The group consisted of 3 girls (Yujin(6GO) and Yubin Byun (8GO), Juah Kim(6GO)) and 4 boys (Siyoon Oh (6GO), Huy Khoi Pham (6GO), Khaled Almedia Tobias (7GO), and Seungyeon Kim (8GO)). They competed in various individual and team swimming events, such as freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke.

🔥 The students had been preparing for the swim meet by attending the swimming club sessions every Thursday after school, as well as having swimming lessons in their Health and Physical Education (HPE) classes. Their efforts were paid off, as they performed well in the swim meet and demonstrated their skills and sportsmanship. In particular, the male team won the first place in the freestyle team relay race, which was a remarkable achievement.

👉 The coach of the HTS Swimming Club, Christopher David Leman, who is also an HPE Specialist Teacher, expressed his pride and satisfaction with the students’ performance, he said: “Our young swimmers Juah, Yujin, and Khoi showed a lot of heart and determination. They swam very hard and did a great job representing our school. The students really came together and supported each other. They cheered each other on which was great for building a sense of team and belonging here at HTS. We will continue practising and improving and will do better at our next competition.”

👏💥 Congratulations to all our talented swimmers for their hard work and dedication. We are proud of you!
