HANOI TORONTO SCHOOL ACCOMPANIES WHSLC TOURNAMENT

As part of the Western Hanoi Sport League Championship, the basketball match between Hanoi Toronro School (HTS) and Sentia School on November 24 was the first sporting event held at HTS.  

For the first time, HTS basketball players have the opportunity to compete in their new basketball outfits. Although the final score was in favor of Sentia, with the effort and the new excitement for the first match, HTS players and Coach Christopher David Leman – HPE Specialist Teacher had the opportunity to show their competitive mettle against a more seasoned opponent. 

Mr Christopher encouraged the HTS players to keep practising, improving their skills and teamwork. He stated that “Winning isn’t easy and doesn’t come overnight. Our team is very new to basketball, and it will take a lot of time to develop the skills and teamwork needed to be successful. But with each game and with each practice we are taking small steps to achieve big goals.”  

Next week, the team will have two matches at HTS on December 6 against St Mary’s International School and December 8 against Japanese International School. Keep up the positive spirit and play with young hearts, HTS team!
